Botox,+ Xeomin
Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeauveu & Daxxify) are the 5 FDA approved products that are injected into specific facial muscles to help soften and relax wrinkles caused by repeated facial expression. As we age our skin loses collagen and elastin and wrinkles form from repetitive movements such as frowning and squinting. Neuromodulators help smooth the appearance of these wrinkles and prevent new lines from forming.
Wyldflower Aesthetics carries 2 of the 5 FDA approved brands (Botox + Xeomin) with the rest coming on quickly.
Neuromodulators?
What Is
Neuromodulators are a prescription medication/solution that is injected into the muscle and is used to temporarily inhibit muscle movement. Botox | Xeomin and fillers can prevent wrinkles from developing or worsening while improving the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet lines and wrinkles.
Neurotoxin injections, a non-surgical, minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used for getting rid of wrinkles and age lines, has been approved by the FDA for use in people between 18 to 65 years old.
Neuromodulators?
What Is It like to get
As mentioned before, neuromodulators are a minimally invasive procedure. It is also an outpatient procedure, which means that you won’t require an overnight stay in the hospital. The entire time you spend in Wyldflower Aesthetics will be no more than an hour and the actual treatment only takes about 10 minutes. Administering anesthesia is not required as it is only minimally invasive. The procedure is a relatively simple procedure. Our in house RN's and/or supervising staff will do a thorough evaluation to ensure that all injections will provide the results you are seeking. Using a fine needle, we will carefully inject a small amount of the solution into the specific muscles being treated. This solution temporarily immobilizes these targeted muscles preventing them from working, resulting in smooth, beautiful skin. Patients report experiencing only minimal discomfort while receiving injections, like a stinging sensation as you would experience with a normal injection. If required, the doctor may apply numbing cream or cold compress to help numb the areas being treated prior to your neuromodulators at Wyldflower Aesthetics Skin + Wellness Clinic.

How does
work?
When Neurotoxins are injected into the area being treated, it goes under the skin and into the muscles, where it blocks out signals coming from the nerves. Since the Neurotoxins injection has blocked the message transmitter, the targeted muscle does not receive from the brain the message to contract and move. In other words, this results in temporary paralyzation of the injected muscle, resulting in the softening of wrinkles on your facial skin. An ideal candidate for Neurotoxins should meet the following criteria:
-
Be at least 18 years of age, but younger than 65 years.
-
Have unwanted lines and wrinkles on the face that make them look old.
-
Have no wish to go under the knife to restore their youthful appearances.

Post-Procedure Care
To decrease the possibility of bruising and swelling after getting your injections, we suggest not to lay down for 4 hours after the procedure and avoid exercising for the rest of the day. We also encourage you to avoid any type of aspirin products for a few days. If possible, avoid sleeping (put pressure) on the treated areas for at least one or two nights. The results will gradually appear over seven to ten days following your treatment.
How Long will my Botox last?
Results last between 3 to 4 months for most people. We highly recommend our clients to return for a follow-up treatment after three months, before the muscles regain full control, resulting in the use of less product, saving you money! Muscles that are continually injected, since they are not active, tend to weaken over time, resulting in less frequent treatments.
